2022 Client Survey Results

Do you want to know what clients had to say about our services?

Lillah reveals the results of a recent client survey along with inspiring comments about our interpreters, setup and, training.

Lillah Harris here with LAF Sign Language Solutions. We sent a survey to our clients at the end of the last school semester and the responses and the comments that we received were inspiring, so I would love to share some of them with you.

The first question that we asked in our survey was, "How much prior experience did you have working with a sign language interpreter?"

Only 25% of those who responded said they had any prior experience,

but 100% said that they now feel comfortable understanding the role of

an interpreter in the classroom and they enjoy working with and collaborating with their virtual interpreter.

The next question we asked was, "How easy was it to set up the

technology and the devices?" 63% said that it was extremely easy to

set up and the other 37% said that it was somewhat easy.

So, we'll take that.

The next question was, "How would you rate the professionalism and the reliability of the virtual services?" 88% responded with the highest rating

for professionalism, reliability and consistency.

Lastly, we asked for some general comments about what they enjoy about

the services and also what improvements could be made and some

of the comments included, "The services match so well with each student.",

"They are adaptable for any classroom.", "The interpreters stepped in and have become part of the educational team.", "It is so easy to use zoom and to connect with the interpreter.", "They love sign language and wish they

could learn more sign language", and also "they're unable to think of anything that could use improvement".

So this feedback is very important for us at LAF SLS because it shows that our services have been extremely successful for our clients because of

the personal touch that we're able to provide, including an initial teacher

training before services even begin so that they are familiar with how to

use the services and feel comfortable connecting with their interpreter.

And also the ongoing support that is provided by our management team and the interpreters throughout the duration

of services.

So we want to continue being a resource for all of the educational teams that we work with, and we're very grateful for the opportunity to provide this service for students who need it. If you know of a district that needs educational interpreters, please feel free to direct them to our website,

lafsls.com for more information.
