How Can I Prepare for the Written EIPA Exam?
Tre explains the resources you can use to successfully prepare for the written exam, as well as what you can do if you need additional help.
Hey, my name is Tre Harris with LAF Sign Language Solutions. I'm creating a series of videos about the EIPA exam.
So, one question I get is: "What is the Written portion of the exam actually based off of?". Well, the information from the written portion is found
at classroominterpreting.org. Once you go there, you'll see that there are Knowledge Standards that cover various issues and topics that you'll face as an educational interpreter. So, that'll be a good start.
Also, there's the EIPA Guidelines for professional interpreters. That's a PDF document that you can read and become familiar with.
If you want to get some practice on the test before you actually take it, direct message us. We're creating a prep course right now, so we can give you some information.
