Top Signs for the Classroom - Part IV
Watch the final video in the four-part series, " Top Signs for the Classroom" to learn how to communicate directly with your deaf or hard of student in American Sign Language (ASL).
Welcome to the final part of our series, "Top Signs for Teachers to Use in the Classroom".
Today, I will start by showing you the sign for "bathroom", or "toilet".
The sign is a "T" hand shape. Shake it from side to side.
"Bathroom?"
"Do you need a bathroom?"
The next is "water". "Water?"
"Thirsty? Water?"
The next sign I'd like to show you is "book". "Book".
To go along with that, imagine that
you're opening your book.
The next sign is "read". "Read",
"Read your book."
You can also write. Like you're holding the pencil and
paper. "Write." "Write".
Thank you for learning with me .If there are any questions that you have or any specific signs that you would like to learn to use in your
classrooms, please contact me at the information below and I'd be happy to help you.
Thanks.
